About Me

Hi! My name is Jason Wexler, and this is my solo piano project, The Chillest.

I started learning the piano at the age of 4, with the support of my parents, and especially my father, who was a self-taught guitarist.

My wife and I had our 2nd son in December of 2017. He was a fussy baby, so we tried to create a feeling of peace in our home by listening to calm music, but after searching Spotify for weeks, I couldn’t quite find what I was looking for.

As a pianist, I knew I could create what I was hearing in my head, so I started recording chilled out versions of my favorite songs that would be perfect for sleeping, relaxing, and even working and studying, and started releasing them in 2019. 6 years later, I’ve recorded almost 40 albums of covers, and my music has been streamed over 80 million times on Spotify!

I hope my music gives you the same feeling of peace it gives us 🙏
